All you have to do is send me an e-mail! You can do that through the contact portion of the website, directly to my e-mail email@example.com, or via Facebook message. In your e-mail tell me the following:
- The quote you have in mind
- The dimensions you want for your sign
- Color requests for the lettering and/or background color
- Whether it will be an indoor or outdoor piece
- The date you will need your order if it is a gift for someone
After I have received your order, we will work together to finalize the design for your piece. Once you are happy with the design details, I will schedule your project and e-mail you with the date I will begin work, as well as an estimated completion/ship date. Just share your ideas, picture examples, and the story behind the custom sign you have imagined for your home. We will correspond over e-mail and work together to create a piece that is exactly what you want!
Each sign I make is unique and will vary in price. After you have contacted me with your design idea and it is finalized, I will be able to give a quote based on the extent of the design. I take into account the size of the piece, the number of words in the quote selected, color additions, and any other special design features including painting on pieces other than wood (i.e. vintage windows, metal, antiques, etc.).
Yes, this price will be included into the final cost of your custom piece and will be discussed before production begins. There is not a set limit regarding the sizes custom pieces can be, however, it is important to note that since they are made from wood, the larger the piece you request, the higher the shipping cost will inevitably be due to weight. This is not to discourage you from creating the piece you are imagining, I just want to keep this affordable for you!
After you have placed an order, I will schedule your project and e-mail you with the date I will begin work, as well as the price for your piece and an estimated completion/ship date. Primarily I work with reclaimed wood for most of the signs I create. I love getting pieces with character and restoring them to their former glory! Custom pieces, however, are not limited to wood if that is not your style. I am able to paint quotes on most any surface, whether it be a vintage window pane, bucket, canvas bag, you name it! All you have to do is ask, I am open to hearing your creative ideas!
The size and complexity of your order will determine how long each order will take. Keep in mind with each sign I create, I have to gather, cut and restore the wood for the sign, design and custom cut the stencils, paint, and add finishes.Once the design for your piece is finalized, it will take 2-4 weeks to complete your order and ship. I will be in contact with you throughout the entire process so you will have a clear date of when you can expect to receive your order!
Yes, every sign intended for the outdoors is finished with a clear, protective paint to keep the integrity of your custom sign intact!

I am able to recreate any quotes, layout/dimensions, and the color schemes you like. Wood materials cannot be duplicated. Keep in mind that each piece of wood I paint is unique, reclaimed material and no two pieces will be identical. If you like a piece seen on the products page, but would like to change the layout, letter/background colors, or any other details, please e-mail me with your ideas!
There is no limit to the number of colors or lettering! Please keep in mind that longer quotes, multiple colors and specific color patterns will factor into completion time and price.
